Benard & Kiera Engagement Shoot

I'm back from my maternity leave now and what could kick it off better than a handsome couple in a beautiful setting.
Kiera and Bernard had their first date at this museum/gallery and wanted tor revisit it for their engagement photos. As per usual I loved photographing two people so totally in love and spent some lovely time with them hearing all about their own individual romance story. What a pleasure to share in this wonderful part of their lives.

George & Melissa Engagement Pictures

It was a really lovely sunny day for these two love birds.  I really enjoyed this shoot with them, getting some fun playful photos.  They proclaimed they didn't know what to do when a camera was in front of them but they were naturals. I enjoyed every minute.

what I liked most about photographing George and Melissa was that they were so comfortable with each other and willing to try something fun. I loved that Melissa wasn't afraid to tell me her ideas or specific photos she had in mind.

They came with a selection of George's hats, which was brilliant as it added something fun and something very them to the images. despite not being able to go to the original location we had planned we still got some lovely shots showing their friendship and fun and of course George's hats.

Josh & Shelley

Spring days can look like summer with a little bit of lens flare.

I've learnt a lot from working with Shelley with the photos, it's been good to experiment and work hard to get what the client wanted. It's brought me out of my comfort zone which is exactly what I needed. This kind of photography is as much about what the client wants as it is about my photo taking style.

Shelley really wanted bright images which is not usually my forte but I enjoyed the challenge, thats one good thing about this kind of business- it keeps you one your toes, always learning.

Padhraig & Jenny continued

Paghraig and Jenny's wedding will be taking place in Belfast which will be exciting for me as I have never ventured over the sea to any part of Ireland, Northern or Southern. We had fun taking these images and the colour of jenny's hair looks lovely against the colour of the glass. They are a really fun couple, Jenny up for a laugh and Padhraig easy going and patient with getting many kisses on the cheek for the camera. I hope the wedding is just as fun as taking these photos was.

A familiar scene. Jenny and Padhraig wanted their engagement photos taken at the Preston Temple and I love the glass windows at the back. Here is a sepia image from the shoot. more images to follow.

Jonny and Jess

These are a couple of images from my most recent engagement shoot with Jonny and Jess. They wanted to have their engagement photos taken where Jonny had proposed to Jess. This was Preston Railway Station when she had arrived after a long train ride from down south. I enjoyed taking these pictures as we were able to run around and have a lot of fun. Jonny and Jess are both laid back and a great laugh. It was a great way for me to ease back into this kind of photography.
