Colin who works at said local Asda told me this morning as he was gritting in front of the shop this morning a group of school kids started a snowball fight with him over their exuberance at school being cancelled. It just shows how kind of lame Lancashire can be that snow beings on a kind of hysteria. But I'm sure the snow is smugly thinking "I still got it".
Thankfully for me working from home means that most days are snow days. While driving to do my weekly grocery shop today I thought it was a wonderful day to actually go outside. Colin kindly braved the outdoors with me although I knew he'd rather be snuggled up warm inside, and I though-rally enjoyed myself.
Having no work on currently meant this was the perfect time to take photos for my own pleasure.
Apparently models say prune when they're being photographed. Looks like I've got a few more hours practising in mirrors ahead of me. Colin seems to have got it down however. This kind of makes me sad.
Note to self: work on prune.
This is Colin being master of the birds as they flocked around him under the illusion that anyone coming to this spot has come carrying breadcrumbs. They were disappointed.
I sometimes forget to take photos for my own benefit so I've been trying to do so more. I've got a lot to document before it becomes faded and things which can seem so solid change.
though-rally beautiful pictures
