Joey and Nessa lantern light
I also brought some chinese lanterns mainly because I like the light they give off as you light them.

Joey and Nessa
I think its important to have an idea before you take photographs. Ness had asked me to do some photos for Joey's birthday and i knew that it was going to be a lot of fun. Ness wanted photos which could go on the wall in their home so the images needed to be catered to that. Something which showed them and their friendship and also which would be something personal to them. They have lots of great stories but one in particular about a bath made me think a bathtub was a great idea. So i asked a mutual friend who had a great bathroom if we could use it and we got some bubbles and went from there. props and location can sometimes add to a photo, make it something personal and fun.
